Although this comes after some delay, I hereby confirm receipt of your three letters from before Chanukah, the 9th and 18th of Shevat, along with the enclosed pan (petitionary note), which I read at an auspicious time at the resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal...

c) I was pleased by what you wrote regarding the division of Shas on the past 24th of Teves, the yahrzeit of our master the Alter Rebbe, as well as about your public Torah study. It is well known that our Sages ruled: "Whoever increases is given more."

d) Regarding what you wrote about being able to arrange a mikvah in accordance with the instruction of my revered father-in-law (the Rebbe Rashab), if it is certain that this will be realized, then surely Aguch will assist with the sum you mentioned—about 150 Israeli lira.

e) Surely you are continuing your study of Chassidus in the synagogue you mentioned in your letter...

Your question concerns Jews from abroad who come to Eretz Yisrael intending to return: how should they observe Yom Tov Sheni? You instructed them to follow the custom of their current location—that is, like residents of Eretz Yisrael—based on what is explained in Shulchan Aruch HaRav (new edition), siman 1:8, and not as written in Mishmeret Shalom siman 32 (by Rabbi Kadynov), and you also referenced Shaar HaKolel chapter 1.
We have only to follow the instruction of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal, who ruled for several people from Eretz Yisrael who came here intending to return that they should act according to the custom of Eretz Yisrael. It follows that this ruling applies equally in reverse.
