He was born on the 3rd of Sivan, 5705 (June 14, 1945), in Dorohoi, Romania, to Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Rosenbaum and Chana, daughter of Rabbi Natan David HaCohen Hollander, the rabbi of Amsana, Galicia.
In 1948, his parents moved to Crown Heights, Brooklyn, where he studied at the Zehlem Talmud Torah and later at the Kashau Yeshiva under Rabbi Raphael Bloch, and the Shaarei Yosher Yeshiva in New York, under Rabbi Yitzchak Dov Koppelman.
On the 19th of Kislev, 5726 (December 12, 1965), he married Miriam Sarah, daughter of Rabbi Mordechai Goldman, the Rebbe of Zvhil, author of Yekara D’Malka.
After a short time, he was appointed the spiritual director at the Belz Talmud Torah in Williamsburg. He founded the "Yagdil Torah" Talmud Torah and Yeshiva for Gerrer Chassidim in Boro Park.
Following the passing of his grandfather, Rabbi Itamar Rosenbaum, in 5733 (1973), he and his father moved to Israel and settled in the Yad Eliyahu neighborhood of Tel Aviv. In 5741 (1981), they moved to Bnei Brak, where he supported his father in establishing their Beit Midrash in the city.
In Israel, he served as the spiritual director of the Dushinsky Talmud Torah and later the Seret-Vizhnitz Talmud Torah in Bnei Brak.
After the passing of his father in 5760 (2000), he was appointed his successor in Bnei Brak. He continued the project of "Shoneh Halachos," where hundreds of yeshiva students and scholars are tested monthly on the Shulchan Aruch and Mishnah Berurah's laws of Shabbat.
During the last half-year of his life, his health fluctuated, and he was hospitalized several times. He passed away on Motzei Shabbat, the night of the 28th of Shevat, 5779 (February 2, 2019), at the Maayanei HaYeshua Hospital in Bnei Brak. He was buried near the Ohel of the Nadvorna Rebbes on Har HaZeitim.
According to his will, his four sons were appointed to succeed him as Rebbes of Zutshka.
