ובמ"ש שעסוק באסיפת תולדות רב וכו' בודאי ראה תולדות תנאים ואמוראים להרב היימן, בו מציין מקום ימצא מאמרי התנאים ואמוראים וכו', וכמדומה לי שמלפני עשיריות בשנים הו"ל גם חוברת מיוחדת בהנוגע לרב, אף שאיני זוכר לע"ע שם המחבר, אבל כל ענין שיכול להוסיף ביראת השם ואהבתו ואהבת התורה, יישר חילם של המתעסקים בזה.
במה שהעיר בדיוק לשון רז"ל אמר רב פלוני או א"ר פלוני אמר ר"פ - או משום פלוני, יעויין במקומות המצוינים בשולי הגליון*...

In response to your letter from Monday, as you requested, when it arrives here a calendar for the coming year with many photos of our holy Rebbeim, zatzukal lehe nbgm zya, will be sent to you.
Regarding what you wrote about being involved in collecting the biography of Rav etc., you have surely seen "Toldot Tannaim v'Amoraim" by Rabbi Heiman, where he notes where the statements of the Tannaim and Amoraim can be found, etc. It seems to me that decades ago there was also a special booklet regarding Rav, though I do not recall at present the name of the author. But any matter that can add to awe of Hashem and love of Him and love of Torah—may those involved in this be strengthened.
As for your comment about the precise language of our Sages: "Amar Rav Ploni" or "Amar Rabbi Ploni amar R.P."—or "mishum Ploni," see the sources cited in the margins*...
