I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 18th of Marcheshvan, in which you write that during your travels you conveyed regards to Anash in the places you passed through, as well as some matters that were discussed. May it be G‑d's will that these words have their effect, for if throughout Torah it is said that study is great because it leads to action—and all the more so regarding one who studies without intent to act—how much more so does this apply to Chassidus and its matters, as is well known from the demand of our holy Rebbeim that all its matters must be actualized.

Regarding what you wrote about studying French or Arabic, etc.—it is to be hoped that this matter will continue (parzian), and once a judgment has been rendered, the dispute is nullified. In any case, it is understood that there must be communication among them—I mean all Oholei Yosef Yitzchak institutions currently in your country—so that not only will there not be contradictions between one’s words and another’s, but there will even be added support. And it is understood that in such cases it is said: "She ascends with him but does not descend with him," meaning that even if in some place a concession must be made out of necessity, the matter should continue (parzian) in other places from week to week and month to month, etc., and specifically in a diplomatic manner.

With blessings for success in your holy work—the inner point of which, like the inner point of our entire generation—is spreading the wellsprings outward. For this is the generation of Ikvasa d'Meshicha (the footsteps of Mashiach), which is also the generation of the beginning of redemption—may it come speedily in our days through Mashiach Tzidkeinu.

The Rebbe teaches that spreading Chassidus requires both learning and practical action. Coordination among communal institutions enhances effectiveness and unity. Even when compromises are necessary locally, efforts should persist elsewhere with diplomacy and perseverance.
