במענה למכתבו מה' טבת, בו כותב אשר מתעסק בהנהלת מוסד חינוך בני ישראל באופן המקרב לבן לאבינו שבשמים, והמוסד יש לו קישוים כספיים וכו'.
ובודאי לא חדשה היא אצלו, והרי ידוע מכתב הרמב"ן שכל המקודש יותר מחבירו וכו', ובכל זה אין הדבר תלוי אלא ברצון החזק של המתעסקים והמנהלים, והרי המדובר בחינוך בנים על טהרת הקדש, ובלבד שיהיו דברים היוצאים מן הלב.
לשאלתו בהנוגע לשידוך, הרי ידועה הוראת חז"ל, שצ"ל כאדם המחזר אחר אבדתו, אף שכמובן בדרכי צניעות ע"פ שו"ע, ובימינו אלה בכלל ובהנוגע לאברך שלמד בישיבה בפרט, ההוראה בזה להתענין בהעיקר ע"פ מ"ש שקר וגו' אשה יראת ה' היא תתהלל, ואז המזווג זיווגים הוא השי"ת מצליח העיקר וגם הטפל.
וכיון שכל ענין הוא בהשגחה פרטית, הרי מחובתי וזכותי לעוררו על ההכרח הגמור וחובת גברא לקבוע עתים בלימוד פנימיות התורה שבדורנו נתגלתה בתורת החסידות, וגם בסביבתו ישפיע בכגון דא, וגם על זה נאמר אין לך דבר העומד בפני הרצון.

In response to your letter from the 5th of Tevet, in which you write that you are involved in managing an institution for the education of Bnei Yisrael in a way that brings children closer to our Father in Heaven, and that the institution faces financial difficulties, etc.
Surely this is not new to you, as it is well known from the letter of the Ramban that "the more sanctified something is..." etc., and nevertheless everything depends only on the strong will of those involved and managing. And here we are speaking about educating children in purity and holiness—provided these are matters that come from the heart.
Regarding your question about a shidduch: it is well known what our Sages teach—that one should search for a lost object as if it were his own, though naturally with modesty according to Shulchan Aruch. In our times in general—and especially regarding an Avrech who studied in yeshivah—the instruction is to focus on what is essential according to what is written: "Sheker ha-chein v'hevel hayofi; ishah yirat Hashem hi tithallel" ("Grace is false and beauty vain; a woman who fears Hashem shall be praised"). Then He Who matches couples—Hashem—will bring success both in what is primary and secondary.
Since everything happens by Divine Providence, it is my duty and privilege to arouse you to the absolute necessity and personal obligation to set fixed times for learning the inner dimension of Torah—which in our generation has been revealed through Chassidus—and also to influence your surroundings similarly. About this too it is said: "Nothing stands in the way of will."
