According to the instruction from my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe shlita, enclosed is a check for the sum of three hundred dollars. And "this is on account of that matter discussed at Waldsanatorium," as was stated to me by the intermediary. Please kindly confirm receipt of the check and its deposit here.

I received your letter from Thursday of this month, and I also received the old check from Patashnik; thank you very much for your effort. Now I hope, as you wrote in your letter, that in these days the other items will also arrive—namely, the Maamarim of Chag HaShavuos, Maamarim from Prechtel's, etc. Most importantly, all notes that can be obtained from the days when my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe shlita, was in your country—whether from his talks with individuals or with groups, etc., etc.
