נדהמתי להודע מהאסון אשר קרה לכת"ר בפטירת זוגתו הרבנית ע"ה, תנצב"ה, המקום ינחם אותו בתוך שאר אבלי ציון וירושלים.
ויה"ר מהשי"ת אשר לא ידע עוד מכל צער ועגמ"נ, ואך טוב וחסד ישכון באהלו תמיד, מנוחת הלב ומנוחת המוח והצלחה בעבודתו, בתורה ובצ"צ וכו'.

שמעתי חסידים מספרים: כאשר נפטרה הרבנית, זוגתו של אדמו"ר הצ"צ, הי' במרירות גדולה, כמה פעמים הביא בדבורו מאמר הזהר הק' (ח"ג ה, א) מלכא בלא מטרוניתא כו' וכיו"ב, עד שאחד מבניו א"ל: בעצמי שמעתי ממך מרז"ל (קדושין ל, ב) וראה חיים עם אשה זו תורה, ויענה הצ"צ: נחמתני בני נחמתני.

I was shocked to hear of the tragedy that befell your honor with the passing of your wife, the Rebbetzin, of blessed memory. May her soul be bound in the bond of life. May the Omnipresent comfort you among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
May it be His will that you know no more sorrow or anguish, and may only goodness and kindness dwell in your tent always—peace of heart and mind, and success in your work in Torah and tzt"z, etc.

P.S.: I heard Chassidim relate: When the Rebbetzin, wife of Admor the tzt"z, passed away, he was in great bitterness. Several times he quoted in his speech the holy Zohar (III 5a): "A king without a queen...", and similar sayings, until one of his sons said to him: I myself heard from you our sages' words (Kiddushin 30b): "U'Re'eh Chayim Im Ishah Asher Ahavta—See life with the woman whom you love," this refers to Torah. The tzt"z replied: "You have comforted me, my son; you have comforted me."
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that true comfort after loss can be found through Torah wisdom and connection to G‑d. Even in deep sorrow, recalling teachings that equate one's beloved with Torah brings solace and renewed strength.
