Bnei Brak

בני ברק

בני ברק is the name of a city in Israel, located east of Tel Aviv.

The name בני ברק comes from a biblical city mentioned in the Book of Joshua (19:45) as part of the land allotted to the tribe of Dan. The modern city of Bnei Brak was founded in 1924 by a group of Orthodox Jews and has since grown into one of the largest centers of Haredi (ultra-Orthodox) Judaism in Israel. It is well-known for its vibrant religious life, numerous yeshivas, synagogues, and institutions of Torah learning.

Bnei Brak plays an important role in Jewish religious culture, especially within the context of Chassidic and Litvish communities.
