In response to your letter... Surely it is unnecessary to point out the need for increased strength and effort in this matter. It is well known from our Sages: "Kol haMosef Mosifin lo" (whoever adds is given more), one explanation being that whoever increases in matters of Torah and mitzvos is granted more from Above—both in the ability to expand his activities in Torah and mitzvos, and in the growth of his desire for this, so that he goes from strength to strength in these matters...
Enclosed is the booklet published in connection with the Days of Redemption and Segulah—12th and 13th of Tammuz—the festival of liberation of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, which is also our own liberation and redemption of our souls. Surely you will study it with proper attention and merit to inspire those around you as well.
