בעתו קבלתי מכ' וגם הפ"נ שלו בעד בנו מר ... שי', וקשה עלי לקרוא את הפ"נ שלו כמו שהוא, באשר כותב בו שבאם נגזר עליו איזה יסורים ח"ו אזי מקבל כו' וכמובן אשר אין זה נוסחא כלל וכלל ואין זה נכון, שמתחיל בבקשת לעורר ר"ר הרי ר"ר אלו מבטלים את היסורים וכו' ואין כדאי להכנס בשקלא וטריא ובדין וחשבון בעניני חליפין וקבלה ע"י אחר וכו' ולכן אקרא הפ"נ בהשמטת שורות אלו, ויה"ר שיוכל בקרוב לבשר בשו"ט בנוגע לבנו מר ... שי' מהטבת מצבו ואם צריכים לזה ענינים שלמעלה מדרך הטבע, הרי מהשי"ת לא יבצר ומי יאמר לו מה תעשה, ובפרט אשר כבר ישנו בדרך הטבע ג"כ שזה כמה זמן שנמצא במאסר ומה שנעשה פס"ד וכו' הנה כשאין הדין דין אזי גם הפסק דין אין נוגע והעיקר כנ"ל אשר כיון שמעוררים רחמים רבים אזי אין זקוקים לחשבונות וכו'.
במה שכותב בענין ההעתקה לבראזיל, ושואל איך אפשר להשיג ניירות משם, הנה כפי הידוע לי מעונינים שם ביותר בש"ובים מומחים ובפרט בהעיר הבירה ריא ד'זשענערא, ובטח נמצא בלשכת הפליטים שלנו בפאריז האדרעס של הרב זינגעראוויטש דשם (הנהו סוחר אמיד אבל ממלא ג"כ תפקיד רב מפני הכבוד) וכדאי להתדבר עמדו.

I received your letter in due time as well as your pan for your son Mr. ... shiy'. It is difficult for me to read your pan as it is, since you write that if any suffering has been decreed upon you, G‑d forbid, then you accept it, etc. Obviously this is not an appropriate wording at all and it is not correct; when one begins by requesting to arouse great mercy, these mercies nullify the suffering, etc. It is not worthwhile to enter into debate or calculations regarding exchanges and acceptance through another person, etc., so I will read the pan omitting these lines.
May it be His will that you will soon be able to share good news regarding your son Mr. ... shiy', about his improved condition. And if this requires matters beyond the natural order—nothing is withheld from Hashem and who can say to Him what to do? Especially since there already exists a natural path as well: he has been imprisoned for some time and a verdict has been issued, etc.—when the judgment itself is not just, then the verdict does not matter either. The main thing remains as above: since great mercy is being aroused, there is no need for calculations, etc.
Regarding what you write about relocating to Brazil and ask how it is possible to obtain papers from there: As far as I know, there is great interest there in skilled returnees (shuvim), especially in the capital city Rio de Janeiro. Certainly our refugee office in Paris has the address of Rabbi Zingerowitz there (he is a wealthy merchant but also fills the role of rabbi out of honor), and it would be worthwhile to speak with him.
