בברכה שתקויים בעגלא דידן קריאת שבת זה כי תשא את ראש בני ישראל, בשנת תישא, כי יש אם למקרא ונקרא מלא (מפרשי רש"י ס"פ שלח, ועייג"כ תוד"ה לא מנחות לט, א. לקו"ת פ' בהר ד"ה את שבתותי ספ"א. וכלשון זח"ג רכז, א: ואי חסר יו"ד הא חירק באתרי').

I received your letter stating that last week there was supposed to be a gathering regarding matters of your esteemed community. Certainly, if there is any good news in this regard, you will inform me as well, and I too will rejoice.
With a blessing that this Shabbat's reading—'Ki Tisa et Rosh Bnei Yisrael' ("When you take a census of the Children of Israel")—will be fulfilled speedily in our days, in the year 'Tisa' ("you shall elevate"). For there is a tradition regarding the reading and it is written in full (see commentators on Rashi at the end of Parshat Shelach; also see Tosafot s.v. 'Lo' Menachot 39a; Likkutei Torah Parshat Behar beginning with 'Et Shabtotai'; and as stated in Zohar III 252a: 'And if it lacks a yud, then there is a chirik in its place').
