Rambam - Mishneh Torah

רמב"ם - משנה תורה

The Mishneh Torah is one of the most famous works of the Rambam (Rabbi Moses ben Maimon, also known as Maimonides). Written in the 12th century, it is a comprehensive codification of Jewish law. The Mishneh Torah organizes and clarifies the laws of the Torah in a systematic manner, making it accessible for both scholars and laypeople.

The work is divided into 14 books, each dealing with different areas of Jewish law, ranging from the laws of daily life to those concerning the Temple, purity, and more. It covers the entire spectrum of halacha (Jewish law) and is unique in that it includes laws that are both relevant in the present time and those that will apply when the Temple is rebuilt in the future.

The Mishneh Torah was revolutionary for its time because it presented the laws in a clear, logical order, without citing the complex sources from the Talmud, making it easier to understand and apply.
