The Chassidic Meaning of 'Me'ayin Yavo Ezri'

The Rebbe explains that 'Me'ayin Yavo Ezri' is not only a question but also an answer: help comes from the level of Atika Kadisha, which brings goodness without concealment. This level provides assistance in every situation, time, and place.

Shalom u'Vrachah!

... Regarding what is stated: Me'ayin Yavo Ezri ("From where will my help come"). It is known according to Chassidus that this is not only a question but also the answer—that "Me'ayin" refers to Atika Kadisha (the Holy Ancient One), about which it is said that there is no left side in this Atika. Therefore, it draws down goodness without concealments and blockages, and it is He who gives help in every situation, at all times, and in every place (see Zohar Parshas Beshalach 64b; Parshas Shelach 158b), as explained in Likkutei Torah Shemini Atzeres 90b.

Summary

The Rebbe teaches that true help comes from the highest Divine source—Atika Kadisha—where there are no barriers or concealments. This level ensures G‑d's assistance reaches us everywhere and always.
