נצטערתי לשמוע פ"ש ממנו שעוד הוא במצב נפילת רוח וכפי שאבין, הנה זה הרוח גם בביתו. אין בחפצי להאריך ולהכנס בטענות אם צודקים הם או לא, ומובן שאין צריכים להתבוננות גדולה להבין מפני מה הם ברוח כזה, אחרי האסון ל"ע ול"ע שהי', אבל בכל זה, הנה בני ישראל מאמינים בכלל וחסידים בפרט, צריכים להתדבק בגלוי און האלטען עס ברייט אפען, עם ה' אלקינו, וכמ"ש ואתם הדבקים בה' אלקיכם חיים כולכם היום, שחיים אמיתים כולל בתוכו, לא רק לדחוף יום אחר יום - שטופען א טאג נאך א טאג - אלא שיהי' החיים בלא חסרון בכל המצטרך להם בגשמיות ומבלי כל חסרון בנוגע לו ולב"ב שיחיו ברוחניות, והיות שאולי ח"ו לא מרוויחים כזאת אצל הקב"ה, הנה ע"ז נאמר בזהר הקדוש (חלק ב' קפ"ד ע"ב) אי איהו קיימא בנהירו דאנפין מתתא, כדין הכי נהירין לי' מלמעלה כו' כגוונא דא עבדו את ה' בשמחה, חדוה דבר נש ממשיך לגבי' חדוה אחרא עילאה, הכי נמי עלמא דתתא כגוונא דאיהי אתעטרת הכי אמשיך מלעילא, און בקיצור גערעט, אז מען שטארקט זיך אין דעם בטחון בהש"י אז ער וועט געבען פון וואס צו זיין פרייליך מוטיג און אויפגעלייגט, און ער איז אויף אזוי פיל שטארק אין דעם בטחון אז עס באווירקט זיין טאג טעגליכן לעבען, איז מען דאס דאן ממשיך מלמעלה, און מען זעהט אויך בעיני בשר אז דער בטחון איז געווען בארעכטיגט, און השי"ת זאל העלפען אז איר אייער פרוי וכל ב"ב שיחיו זאלן דאס זעהן בקרוב האפשרי ובמוחש ממש.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
I was saddened to hear from someone about you that you are still in a state of discouragement, and as I understand it, this mood is also present in your home.
I do not wish to elaborate or enter into arguments about whether these feelings are justified or not, and it is clear that one does not need much contemplation to understand why you are feeling this way after the terrible tragedy that occurred, G‑d forbid. Nevertheless, the Jewish people in general and Chassidim in particular must openly attach themselves and hold steadfastly to Hashem our G‑d, as it is written: 'Ve'atem ha'dvekim b'Hashem Elokeichem chayim kulchem hayom' (And you who cling to Hashem your G‑d are all alive today). True life includes not only pushing through each day—just getting by day after day—but rather that life should lack nothing needed materially and have no deficiency for you or your family spiritually.
And if perhaps one feels they are not earning such things from the Holy One blessed be He, it says in the Zohar (part II p.184b): 'If he stands with a shining face below, then so too they shine upon him from Above... In this manner: Serve Hashem with joy; a person's joy draws down another higher joy. So too the lower world—when it is crowned thusly—draws down from Above.' In short: when one strengthens their trust in Hashem that He will provide reasons to be happy, courageous, and uplifted—and one's trust is so strong that it affects their daily life—then this draws down blessings from Above. One then sees with their own eyes that this trust was justified. May Hashem help that you, your wife, and all your family see this as soon as possible and tangibly.
