Shalom u'Vrachah!

Enclosed is the booklet for the upcoming Pesach holiday, intended for you to merit all those around you to study it, and also to learn from it to act and fulfill its conclusions—both regarding oneself and others: the effect of the divine soul on the animal soul, and influencing others directly. What is stated (in the Chol HaMoed Pesach talk in the booklet) for mashpi'im and yeshiva administrators, especially regarding America, is a clear directive for anyone who has influence. As expressed by my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, in this talk: "One must make clear to you the responsibility that Divine Providence has placed upon you... If there is in a city a young man, a ben Torah, it should be felt there that there is a Jew in town... You must take the youth into your hands." End quote. All four types of sons and daughters are included: wise, wicked, simple (foolish), and those who do not know how to ask—none are excluded, as it says: "VeArbeh et Zaro" (And I will multiply his seed). Through 'taking' (nemen) and an appropriate approach for each one of them, the blessing at the end of that talk is drawn down and fulfilled—that Hashem grants success in fulfilling this mission and work.

I received pleasantly the report from your representative etc. etc., from Horav G.B. regarding your work in addition to what you wrote directly to me. One must always increase in holiness. Since it is impossible at present to reach everyone who needs proper education, it is understood that priority should be given to those without any issues (such as mixing secular and sacred studies together) or those who have no education at all. Special attention should be given to training teachers and counselors through suitable courses and similar means.

The Pesach offering differs from other sacrifices in that human consumption is its main aspect—practically speaking, acting upon one's physical body in one's material life. And up to what is written in the introduction of the booklet regarding matzah from the great maamar "VeKacha HaGadol." Foolish: The version of Yerushalmi Pesachim chapter 10 halacha 4. VeArbeh: VeArbeh has a gematria equal to four times 'ben' (see Shaar HaLikutim and Likkutei Torah by the Arizal at the beginning of Parshat Bo; Pri Etz Chaim Shaar Kriyat Shema chapter 28).

Summary

The Rebbe teaches that anyone with influence bears responsibility for every kind of youth—no one is excluded—and success comes through tailored guidance and dedicated educator preparation. The unique nature of Pesach highlights our duty to impact both ourselves and others materially and spiritually.
