I received your two letters with the attached checks—an initial sum for printing the book of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, as well as for the maamad—in a timely manner. Enclosed are the receipts with much thanks.

According to your request, I have mentioned you and your wife at the tziyun of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, for all that you need. Surely he has already aroused mercy Above for both of you—for good health, peace of mind and body, and also to be more joyful.

Especially now that you have accepted upon yourself the merit of printing a book of his maamarim or sichos, thereby bringing light into many Jewish homes throughout all corners of the world—you have certainly earned that this will draw light and warmth into your own home as well. One only needs to open the doors and windows so it can enter inside—and this is accomplished through Tehillim, Torah (Chumash with Rashi, Tanya, a lesson in the Rebbe’s maamarim or sichos, etc.), which opens both heart and mind.

Regarding your question about when to send the remaining funds—I do not wish to burden you. However, the sooner the money arrives here, the sooner typesetters, printers, etc., can do their work.

I hope that in your next letter you will also write about an improvement in your mood and in both your health.
