אִם בְּחוּקֹתַי תֵּלֵכוּ גֹו' וְנָתַתִּי גִשְׁמֵיכֶם בְּעִתָּם ... לִימוּד הַתֹּורָה וְקִיוּם הַמִצְוֹת הֵם טַבַּעַת הַקִדוּשִׁין שֶׁבָּהֶם קִידֵשׁ הַקָבָּ"הֻ אֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל לְהִתְחַיֵיב לָזוּן אֹותָם וּלְפַרְנְסָם.

"If you will walk in My statutes… and I will give your rains in their season…" — the study of Torah and the observance of mitzvos are the wedding ring with which the Holy One, blessed is He, betrothed Israel, obligating Himself to sustain and provide for them.
