A summary of the explanation of the fifth mode: Hei — "Hatzneia leches im Havayah Elokecha," "Walk humbly with Havayah your G‑d." This is the care that there be no protrusion of any kind, as in the teaching, "A person should always be shrewd in fear of Heaven." The point of that shrewdness is that it not be recognizable at all. It is well known that a number of the early Chassidim would conceal themselves, and if they were discovered they were pained by it.
This is the avodah of teshuvah that comes from walking humbly.
