במענה על מכתבו מו' טבת בו מבקש לכבדו בספרי הצ"צ, הנה כדי שיהיו ספרי קה"ת מצויים לכל דורש, מסדרים אנו עתה להמציא ספרינו למקום כללי פתוח לרבים, בכמה מעיירות ארצה"ק ת"ו, וגם לירושלים עיה"ק ת"ו נשלחו כל הספרים הנ"ל, והי' כל שוחר דא"ח יבוא לשם לרוות צמאונו, ובטח גם כ' יוכל לשתות בצמא מספרי קדושי ישראל ונשיאיו, כ"ק אדמו"ר הזקן, כ"ק אדהאמ"צ, כ"ק אד' הצ"צ, כ"ק אדמו"ר מוהר"ש, כ"ק אדמו"ר מהורש"ב, וכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ, זצוקללה"ה, נבג"מ, זי"ע.
אתענין לדעת אם מכהן הוא במשרת הרבנות ג"כ בירושלים, ואיזה קביעות עתים לתורה ישנם בעדתו וכו'.

In response to your letter from the 6th of Teves in which you request to be honored with the tzt"z books, know that in order for Kehot books to be accessible to all who seek them, we are currently arranging for our books to be placed in a general location open to the public in several towns throughout Eretz HaKodesh, as well as sending all the aforementioned books to Jerusalem, the holy city. Every seeker of Chassidus will be able to come there and quench his thirst. Surely you too will be able to drink eagerly from the works of the holy leaders of Israel: our master and teacher the Alter Rebbe, our master and teacher the Mitteler Rebbe, our master and teacher the tzt"z, our master and teacher Maharash, our master and teacher Rashab, and our master and teacher my father-in-law the Rebbe hk"m, zatzal, nbg"m, zy"a.
I am interested to know if you also serve in a rabbinic position in Jerusalem, and what fixed times for Torah study exist in your community etc.
