I received your letter from Tuesday of Parshas Va'eira, and now I have also received the letter from Perezhitche that you asked your acquaintance to send me. After reviewing it, I will return it to you, as you wrote in your letter.

The letter regarding the liberation of the Alter Rebbe was also printed in Beis Rabbeinu but from a copy and is corrupted. I am enclosing here a booklet of Maamarei Hishtat'chus by Harav Hagaon Harav Hatzadik etc. Reb Hillel of Paritch z"l. I have also sent to your honor in a separate package the book Maamarei 5627 which was just published according to the directive of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal, before his passing.

In my conversation with Haraha"ch etc. Reb Sh. Levitin regarding the maamarim of the Rebbe (the Rashab) n"a, he pointed out that in the index I arranged and printed, the maamarim he himself heard were not included. These are: from 5659 – Ki Yishalcha (Pesach); Vayehi He'anan VehaChoshech (Shevi'i shel Pesach); Hodu LaHashem Kir'u Bishmo; Zimna Chada Itztarech Alma Lemitra; Im Lo Berisi Yomam Valaila; VeIsh Ki Yimrat Rosho – all between Pesach and Shavuos; Dvarim Hasho Marom Eineichem; Shabchi Yerushalayim Es Hashem; Az Tismach Besulah Bema'chol (the Shabbos before my sister-in-law Rebbetzin Chana's birth); VeHashem Beirach Es Avraham Bakol; Az Tismach Besulah Bema'chol (both on that birthday). From 5660 – HaChodesh Hazeh (Parshas HaChodesh); Refuos Tehi Lesharecha (Parshas Emor); Refuos Tehi Lesharecha (Lag BaOmer); Gedolah Torah Shehi Notenet Lecha Chaim.

He told me that you were also then in Lubavitch, so I am asking you as well if you remember these maamarim being said at those times. Thank you in advance if you answer this. Perhaps you remember other maamarim of the Rebbe Rashab n"a that were not included in the index? You surely have the index at hand; if not, please let me know and I will send it to you.
