מיט פארגעניגען האב איך באקומען אייער גרוס, ווי אויך אייער השתתפות אין דער קופה פון מעמד, וואס איז איבערגעגעבן געווארן, און בייגעלעגט איז די קבלה.
מיר איז געווען זייער אנגענעם צו דערוויסן זיך, אז דאס אויבנדערמאנטע קען באטראכט ווערן ניט נאר אלס א השתתפות מיט געלט, נאר אויך אלס א סימן פון אנטיילן נעמען און פאראייניגען זיך מיט דער גרויסער און פיל פארצווייגטער ארבעט, וואס איז געגרינדעט און אנגעפירט געווארן דורך כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, און ווערט אויך ווייטער אנגעפירט אין דעם גייסט וואס ער האט אנגעצייכנט.
כדי אבער צו קענען אנגיין מיט דער ריזיקער ארבעט, מוז מען האבן די מיטהילף פון די אלע וועלכע האבן א געפיל אין דער גרויסער נויטווענדיקייט פון אזא ארבעט, און בפרט די אלע וועלכע האבן געהאט, אין אירגענד וועלכן אופן, דעם זכות צו קומען אין פארבינדונג מיט כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, און פילן דעריבער מיט א זעלבסטפארשטענדליכקייט דעם חוב און זכות צו העלפן אנהאלטן אלע ענינים וואס ער האט מייסד געווען און אנגעפירט.
די הילף קען געגעבן ווערן אויף צוויי אופנים: הילף דורך געלט און הילף דורך פערזענליכער מיטארבעט. האף איך, אז אייער הילף וועט זיין אין ביידע אופנים, און דאס אויבנדערמאנטע השתתפות איז א זיכערער צייכן דערפון, און לויט דעם אויסדרוק פון חז"ל אין דער משנה, אז עס זאל זיין עינו טובה בשל אחרים, וועט יעדער איינער זען משפיע זיין אויפן קרייז פון זיינע פריינט און באקאנטע מקרב צו זיין זיי צו אלע ענינים אויף וועלכע כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע האט אוועקגעלעגט אזויפיל מסירת נפש.
לקראת חג הפסח הבא עלינו ועל כל ישראל לטובה, ווינש איך אייך אלעמען עם ב"ב שיחיו א כשרן און פרייליכן פסח.

It was with pleasure that I received your greeting, as well as your participation in the fund for Maamad, which has been delivered, with the receipt enclosed. It was very gratifying to learn that this aforementioned act can be considered not only as a financial contribution but also as a sign of joining and uniting with the great and multifaceted work that was established and led by my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may his merit protect us), and which continues to be conducted in the spirit he set forth.
However, in order to continue this immense work, we must have the assistance of all those who feel the great necessity of such efforts—especially those who have had, in any way, the merit to come into contact with my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may his merit protect us), and therefore naturally feel both an obligation and a privilege to help sustain all matters he founded and led.
This help can be given in two ways: assistance through money and assistance through personal involvement. I hope that your support will be in both forms, and this aforementioned participation is a sure sign of it. According to our Sages’ expression in the Mishnah—that one should have a good eye towards others—each person will seek to influence their circle of friends and acquaintances to draw them closer to all matters for which my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may his merit protect us), devoted so much self-sacrifice.
As we approach Pesach, may it come upon us and all Israel for good, I wish you all together with your families a kosher and joyous Pesach.
