געוויס ווייסט איר פון דעם ווארט וואס כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, האט געזאגט אין נאמען פון בעל שם טוב הקדוש, אז יעדער זאך וואס עס טרעפט בא אידן, איז דאס בהשגחה פרטית, - ניט קיין צופעליגקייט - מקרה -.
איז געוויס אז דאס וואס השי"ת האט מזמין געווען און איר האט זיך צוזאמענגעטראפן און פארבראכט, האף איך אז דאס האט געמאכט א גוטע ווירקונג ניט נאר אויף הרב ר' אלי' סימפסאן שי' נאר אויך אויף אייך אליין, און די ראי' אויף דעם איז, אז דעם פועל'ט צו דערנעהנטערן זיך צום מקור החיים פון אלע אידן, וואס דאס איז תורה ומצות.
און די וועלכע האבן זוכה געווען צו דערוויסן זיך אויך פון דעם אור החסידות, און פון דער הנהגה פון דרכי החסידות, האבן א ווארימקייט צו טאן א טובה א אידן, און אויך א ווארימקייט ביים לערנען א פרשה חומש, עין יעקב גמרא, תניא און ספרי חסידות, וואס די אלע זאכן, ווער עס טוט דאס איין מאל, בלייבט א רושם פון דעם אויפן גאנצען לעבן, און עס ווענדעט זיך נאר אין דעם וועלן, און אז ער וועט וועלן וועט ער געוויס קענען.
בייגעלייגט איז די שיחה פון ל"ג בעומר פון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, וועלכעס איז יעצט ארויס פון דרוק, און לייענענדיג די שיחה, וועט דאס אייך געוויס פיל גוטעס טאן.

It pleased me—in its time—to hear a greeting from you through Haraha"ch vavac"h iy"a nu"n, one who is involved in communal needs etc., Reb Eliyahu Simpson, that you spent time reminiscing about the days of old, those luminous days when you were within the walls of the Tomchei Temimim Yeshivah in Lubavitch.
You surely know the teaching that my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe—may his merit protect us—said in the name of the holy Baal Shem Tov: everything that happens to a Jew is by Divine Providence—not by chance or accident. Therefore, it is certain that your gathering and farbrengen was orchestrated by Hashem, and I hope it had a positive effect not only on Reb Eliyahu Simpson but also on you yourself. The proof is that such an event inspires one to draw closer to the Source of Life for all Jews—which is Torah and mitzvos.
Those who have merited to learn from the light of Chassidus and from the conduct of chassidic ways possess a warmth for doing good for another Jew, as well as a warmth when learning a parsha in Chumash, Ein Yaakov Gemara, Tanya, and chassidic texts. Whoever does this even once retains an impression for their entire life; it all depends on one's will—and if he truly wants, he will surely be able.
Enclosed is the sichah from Lag BaOmer by my revered father-in-law—the Rebbe—which has just been published. Reading this sichah will certainly do much good for you.
