במענה על מכתבו המודיע אשר אמו, הוא וזוג' שי' כבר קבלו את הוויזות לקנדה ומתכוננים בקרוב לנסוע;
יהי רצון שתהי' הנסיעה כשורה ויביאם למחוז חפצם ויסתדרו באופן המתאים לפניהם בגו"ר.
ובודאי קודם הנסיעה יסדר התועדות - א חסידישן פארבריינגען - שזה יפעול שלא לשכוח את פתגמו של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע ריחוק המקום אינו צריך לפעול ח"ו ריחוק בין החסידים, וההתקשרות יכולה שתתקיים גם אח"כ ואדרבה עוד תתחזק ע"י התקשרות כולם יחד באילנא דחייא היא תורת החסידות וההנהגה בדרכי החסידות.

In response to your letter informing me that your mother, you, and your wife have already received visas for Canada and are preparing to travel soon; may it be G‑d's will that the trip goes smoothly, brings you to your desired destination, and that you settle in a manner fitting for you all with revealed good.
Certainly before the trip you will arrange a gathering—a chassidic farbrengen—which will ensure that you do not forget the saying of my revered father-in-law the Rebbe zatzal: physical distance should never cause, G‑d forbid, distance between chassidim. The hiskashrus (bond) can continue even afterwards—and indeed will be strengthened—through everyone connecting together in the Tree of Life: the teachings of Chassidus and living according to chassidic ways.

The Rebbe teaches that even when moving far away, physical distance does not weaken the spiritual bond between chassidim. By gathering together and remaining connected through Chassidus and its ways, their hiskashrus can continue and grow even stronger.
