במענה על מכתבו מי"ב מנ"א, הנה ת"ל אשר הוטב מצב בריאותו, ובטח יודיע בשו"ט להבא אשר הולך הלוך וטוב עד שיחזור לאיתנו ויוכל להמשיך בעבודתו בקדש, הן בעניני תמיכת הישיבה וכנאמר בזהר (ח"ג נג, ב) עץ חיים היא וכו' ותומכי' מאושר, אל תקרי מאושר אלא מראשו (נתבאר במאמר ד"ה עץ חיים דשנת תרצ"ט), וכן בענינים דקירוב לבן של ישראל לאבינו שבשמים ע"י שממשיכים אותם לתורה עבודה וגמ"ח, ומובן אשר המתעסק בזה בא על שכרו ולהמצטרך לו ולב"ב שיחיו בגשמיות וברוחניות.
ת"ח על טרחתו עד עתה בענין עגונא דאתתא מרת... ובטח ממשיך בזה באופן האפשרי, וכן מזרז את אלו הנמצאים על אתר. ות"ח על הבשו"ט שיבשר בזה, וכן מפגישתו עם האנשים במדינת הולנד שבטח ישלח - כהבטחתו במכתבו.

In response to your letter from the 12th of Menachem Av: Thank G‑d that your health has improved, and surely you will continue to share good news that you are getting better until you return to full strength and can resume your holy work—both in supporting the yeshiva (as it says in Zohar III 53b: Etz Chaim Hi... v'Tomcheha Me'ushar—'It is a tree of life... and its supporters are fortunate,' do not read 'fortunate' but 'from his head,' as explained in the maamar Etz Chaim from the year 5699), as well as in drawing the hearts of Jews closer to our Father in Heaven by bringing them to Torah, avodah, and acts of kindness. It is understood that one who is involved in this receives reward for himself and for all his household both materially and spiritually.
Thank you for your efforts so far regarding the agunah case of Mrs.... Surely you continue this work as much as possible and also encourage those present on site. Thank you as well for sharing good news about this matter, as well as about your meeting with people in Holland—which you will surely send as promised in your letter.
