נהניתי לקרוא במכתבו ע"ד לימודו שיעור עם נערים, ובביהכנ"ס, ואין מה לפחד מה שלימוד דא"ח הוא למעלה מהבנתם והשגתם, כיון שבימינו אלה ניתנה תורת החסידות גם באותיות כאלו המובנים לאיזה סוג שיהי' מבני ישראל, אלא שצריך למצוא המאמר והשיחה המתאימים, וזהו מתפקידו של המשפיע למצוא את המתאים לפי ערך קהל השומעים, ועל דרך מארז"ל בשמו"ר (פ"ב, ב) לענין משה רבינו, איך שהי' מחפש את העשבים המתאימים לכל סוג וסוג שבעדרו.

I was pleased to read in your letter about your teaching a class with boys in the synagogue. There is no need to fear that learning Chassidus is beyond their understanding or grasp, because in our times the teachings of Chassidus have been given even in terms understandable to any type among the Jewish people. One just needs to find the appropriate maamar or sichah. It is the role of the mashpia to find what is suitable according to the level of his audience—similar to what our Sages say in Shemos Rabbah (2:2) regarding Moshe Rabbeinu: how he would seek out the herbs suitable for each type within his flock.
Enclosed is an excerpt from a farbrengen talk from Shabbos Mevarchim Elul. Surely you will publicize this in an appropriate manner. Also enclosed is a letter for your son; if further explanation is needed regarding it, I rely on your understanding to explain what I wrote briefly.
