I received today the report of the bris of your grandson Shlomo Yitzchak sheyichyeh. On this occasion I want to once again repeat my Mazel Tov blessing: just as you brought him into the covenant of Avraham Avinu, so may you bring him to Torah, marriage, and good deeds. You and your wife tichyeh should have Jewish and Chassidic nachas both from this grandson and from your other children sheyichyu. May this be not only with physical tranquility but also with peace of mind.
The good deeds you have done until now—especially the printing of "Sdei Chemed," as well as your involvement in supporting the institutions of my father-in-law the Rebbe zatzal—should continue to bring you and all yours ongoing blessing and success in all matters. May you soon be able to fulfill your promise to support the aforementioned institutions in Africa with a generous hand, and have the opportunity to increase your assistance according to what is needed and as your Jewish heart desires.
Please convey a Mazel Tov blessing regarding the bris to the parents of the newborn—your son Mr. Yisrael Zalman sheyichyeh and his wife Mrs. Freidel tichyeh—as well as to the grandmother Mrs. Rachel tichyeh and great-grandmother Mrs. Breindel tichyeh for long life and good years.
