יעדן יאר בא זמן חירותנו, דארף יעדער איד דורכלעבן און אויפלעבן דעם אידישן מיין פון זמן חירותנו, וואס די כוונה פנימית דערפון איז געווען - בהוציאך את העם מצרים תעבדון את הא' על ההר הזה: מתן תורה, און די ווירקונג דערפון דארף זיך פילן אין טאג טעגליכן לעבן א גאנץ יאר, בלימוד התורה ויקום המצוות בכלל, און מיט א טיפען אחריות געפיל פאר חינוך הכשר בפרט, וואס קינדער זיינען געווען און זיינען תמיד די גאראנטיע פאר דעם קיום און אמת'ן חירות פון אונזער פאלק.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
In honor of Pesach, Zman Cheiruseinu (the season of our freedom), which is approaching for us and all Israel for good, I send you my best wishes for a kosher and joyous Pesach. Every year when Zman Cheiruseinu arrives, every Jew must experience and relive the Jewish meaning of this time. Its inner purpose was: BeHotzi'acha Es HaAm MiMitzrayim Ta'avdun Es HaElokim Al HaHar HaZeh ("When you bring the people out of Egypt, you will serve G‑d on this mountain")—Matan Torah. The effect of this should be felt in daily life throughout the entire year: in Torah study and fulfillment of mitzvos in general, and with a deep sense of responsibility for proper education in particular. Children have always been—and remain—the guarantee for the continuity and true freedom of our people.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that true freedom is achieved through Torah and mitzvos, especially as experienced during Pesach. This freedom must permeate our daily lives all year long, with a special emphasis on educating children as the foundation for our nation's enduring liberty.
