... צום יום ההילולא, יארצייט, פון שווער כ"ק אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע פרייטאג ערב שבת קודש פרשת שירה, וויל איך ווידער אמאל ערמוטיגען און מעורר זיין יעדערע פון די נשי ובנות חב"ד תחיינה, בתוך כלל ישראל, צו פארשטארקען זייער ארבעט פאר אידישקייט בכלל, און לויט דער פראגראם און אין די ראמען פון אייער סניף בפרט. פארשטארקען און אויך פארגרעסערן - לויט די אומשטענדן פון אונזער צייט, די לעצטע שעות פון פינצטערן און ביטערן גלות, עקבתא דמשיחא, וועלכע פארלאנגט א פארברייטערונג און פארטיפונג פון דער ארבעט פאר אידישקייט, דורכגעלויכטען און דורכגעדרונגען מיט חסידישע ליכט און ווארימקייט.
און ווי אין אלע וויכטיגע מאמענטען פון אונזער געשיכטע, אזוי אויך איצט, דארפן אידישע פרויען, לויט די אופנים און וועגן פון תורתנו הקדושה, נעמען אין דעם אן אקטיווען אנטייל.
אויך פון דער סדרה פון דעם טאג, פון פרשת שירה, לערנען מיר עס אפ. דער אבשלוס פון דער שירה - וואס אלעס גייט דאך לויטן סיום - איז די שירה פון מרים הנביאה. די שירה פון מרים בשמחה און כל הנשים פארפאלקאמט דעם ישיר משה ובני ישראל*.
דערמיט גיט די תורה הקדושה אן אנווייזונג פאר די אידישע פרויען פון אלע דורות, אז די אידישע פרוי האט א גרויסע פאראנטווארטלעכקייט און זכות אין די הייליקסטע מאמענטען און וויכטיקסטע געשעענישען אין דער געשיכטע פון אונזער פאלק.
קריעת ים-סוף איז געווען א צוגרייטונג צו קבלת התורה און צו דער ג-טלעכער אנטפלעקונג ביים בארג סיני. די אידישע פרויען האבען געהאט א וויכטיגען חלק אין דער צוגרייטונג.
אויך היינט שטייען מיר אויפן וועג צו דער ג-טלעכער אנטפלעקונג, על ידי משיח צדקנו במהרה בימינו. די צוגרייטונג דערצו איז דורך תורה און מצוות אין דער באלויכטונג פון חסידות.
די ריכטיגע אריינטראכטונג אין דעם גרויסען זכות און גרויסער אחריות וועט זיכער געבען יעדער איינער פון אייך די נויטיגע דערמוטיקונג צו פארגרעסערען אייער ארבעט מיט שמחה און מיט חסידישער ווארימקייט און ליכטיקייט. יעדע איינע בא זיך אין שטוב און אין דער סביבה ארום.
און דערמיט ברענגט איר אויך אראפ די ג-טלעכע ברכות מצליח צו זיין אין אייערע ענינים פרטיים...

On the fast day of the yahrzeit of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal, which falls this year on Friday, Erev Shabbat Kodesh Parshas Shira, I wish once again to encourage and inspire each of the Nshei U'Bnos Chabad, within all of Israel, to strengthen their work for Judaism in general and specifically according to the program and framework of your branch.
This strengthening should also mean expanding—according to the circumstances of our time, these last hours of dark and bitter exile, ikvesa d'meshicha—which demands a broadening and deepening of work for Judaism, permeated with chassidic light and warmth.
As in all important moments in our history, so too now Jewish women must—according to the ways and methods of our holy Torah—take an active part. We also learn this from today's Torah portion, Parshas Shira. The conclusion of the Song—which always sets the tone—is the song of Miriam HaNeviah. Miriam's song with joy and all the women completed "Yashir Moshe u'Vnei Yisrael" (Then Moshe and the children of Israel sang). With this, the holy Torah gives guidance to Jewish women in every generation: that a Jewish woman has great responsibility and merit at the holiest moments and most important events in our people's history.
The splitting of the sea was a preparation for receiving the Torah and for G‑d's revelation at Mount Sinai. The Jewish women had an important part in that preparation. So too today we stand on the path toward G‑d's revelation through Moshiach Tzidkeinu speedily in our days. The preparation is through Torah and mitzvos illuminated by Chassidus.
The proper contemplation on this great merit and responsibility will surely give each one of you needed encouragement to increase your work with joy and chassidic warmth and light—each one at home and in her surroundings. In doing so you also draw down G‑d's blessings for success in your personal matters...
