In response to your letter from Monday with the enclosed pidyon nefesh, which will be read at an auspicious time at the holy resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal, in which you bring good news about the founding of the sacred institution based on pure holiness at the Beit Midrash Adat Yisrael and that my letter was sent to those involved. Certainly, you will further explain if necessary, and as our holy Rebbeim invested tremendous effort in founding the first yeshivah already by our great teacher, Admor HaZaken, and even more so despite concealments and obstacles in founding Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim. These efforts continue in our generation—the orphaned generation—to expand Torah and glorify it among ever-widening circles, as expressed precisely: "hafatzas hamaayanos chutzah" (spreading the wellsprings outward), through which we approach fulfillment of the prophecy "Chachmos bachutz taronah" (Wisdom cries out in the street) (Mishlei 1:20).

As explained at length in Chassidus (Torat Chayim at its beginning), "chachmos" is plural—both Chassidus and Nigleh together will rejoice openly outside. It is well known the saying of the Baal Shem Tov that a soul descends below and is clothed in a body for seventy or eighty years just to do a favor for another Jew physically or spiritually—how much more so regarding such an elevated matter as education in pure holiness, which is eternal since those educated build everlasting generations—zera berech Hashem (offspring blessed by Hashem) (Yeshayahu 61:9)—for generations upon generations until the end of time.

May it be G‑d's will that for long days and good years, with expanded mind and proper health, you will bring good news from your holy activities as above. And according to G‑d's measure—which is measure for measure but many times over—you should derive abundant nachas from your children—he and his wife shetichyeh.

Blessings for good news.

To prevent future distress and preclude possible claims by those who might say "the water is ours" (especially if over time another institution from their camp participates in expenses—which would anyway prevent discordant conduct; see Ramban there), it is advisable to promptly secure matters by formally establishing a name for the institution and more. My suggestion: "Oholei Yosef Yitzchak – Lubavitch," as such branches already exist in Eretz Yisrael, Morocco, Australia, etc. It may also be appropriate to obtain a charter (tsharter), which would further guarantee what was mentioned above—especially since a charter is likely needed anyway so donations can be tax-deductible for the institution. The above name could possibly be included under the charter of Melach or Machaneh Yisrael which already has these rights.
