...Surely by the time you receive this letter, you will have already received a detailed report from here through Haraha"ch vavac"h iy"a nu"n oseik b'tzt"z etc. Moreinu HaRav Yosef HaLevi Weinberg, the emissary.

And certainly it is unnecessary to request your honor's help for the above as much as possible and in every necessary way; however, based on the ruling in Sifri on Parshas Tzav that one only urges those who are already diligent, I am writing these lines to encourage and urge you even more.

Just as with Torah study—where every single moment is an obligation in itself, and therefore if even a small amount of time is not utilized it is a loss that cannot be recovered (for even if one makes up for it in later hours, it only fulfills one's own obligation)—so too with matters of charity connected to Torah study. Since, after all, the heart of a Jew is awake regarding Torah and mitzvos, the earlier and more energetically one encourages the donor to fulfill his giving promptly, the sooner there will be another opportunity for him to add to his previous donation.

The merit of your honor's participation in Etz [Chaim] is great for those who support and uphold it with happiness.

May it be G‑d's will that you and your family experience what is explained in Zohar (Zohar III 53b): "Do not read 'me'ushar' (happy) but 'me'rosho' (from his head)," meaning that all blessings and success will flow from your head; since the body follows the head, certainly all of this will extend into all other matters as well.

And as explained in Zohar (Zohar I 120a) that the husband of a family is like the head of the body—so from his head (the husband's matters) it will also flow regarding his wife and family members in whatever each specifically needs.

Blessings for proper arrangements before you and your family both materially and spiritually together. Awaiting good news.

The Rebbe teaches that promptness in supporting Torah causes leads to greater opportunities for giving and brings abundant blessings not only to the giver but also to their entire family. Early action multiplies merit and draws down spiritual and material success.
