שעת הכושר היתה בשבוע זה להעלות את כמ"ע שי' על זכרוני, שכן חל בו יו"ד שבט, יום ההילולא של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר צדיק יסוד עולם זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, אשר כל ימיו מסר נפשו להדריך את בני ובנות ישראל בכל אתר ואתר בדרך העולה בית א-ל, באהבת השם, אהבת התורה ואהבת ישראל, עמודי התווך של תורת החסידות.
קבלה בידינו מאדמו"ר האמצעי, בנו של אדמו"ר הזקן בעל התניא והשולחן ערוך, מייסד תורת החב"ד (ראה "קיצורים והערות" לספר לקוטי אמרים, בהוצאתנו, עמוד קכב) אשר "בגלל המסירות נפש הלזו על תורת החסידות פסקו בבית דין של מעלה, אשר בכל ענין של תורה יראת שמים ומדות טובות תהי' יד מקושריו והולכי בעקבותיו על העליונה".
ומכיון שהנני מקבל ידיעות טובות מזמן לזמן על דבר הסיוע וההשתתפות של כמ"ע בעבודתנו הק' בחינוך הכשר במדינתו במוסדות שנוסדו על שם בעל ההילולא, הנה זכור מע"כ לטוב ובפרט בעת רצון זו להמשיך לו ברכה והצלחה בפועל ממש, הן בעבודתו לטובת הכלל והן בעניניו הפרטיים, הוא ובני ביתו שיחיו בטוב.

This week was an opportune time to bring your letter to my attention, as it included Yud Shevat, the yahrzeit of the Previous Rebbe, a righteous foundation of the world, who devoted his entire life to guiding Jewish men and women everywhere on the path that leads to the House of G‑d—with love of Hashem, love of Torah, and love of Israel—the pillars of Chassidic teaching.
We have received from the Mitteler Rebbe, son of the Alter Rebbe (author of Tanya and Shulchan Aruch), founder of Chabad Chassidus (see "Kitzurim V'He'aros" to Likkutei Amarim, our edition, p. 122), that "because of this self-sacrifice for Chassidus, it was decreed in Heaven that in every matter of Torah, fear of Heaven, and good character traits, those connected to him and following his path will prevail."
Since I receive good reports from time to time about your assistance and participation in our sacred work for proper education in your country at institutions founded in honor of the one whose yahrzeit we mark—may you be remembered for good especially at this auspicious time—to draw down blessing and success in actual fact both in your communal work and personal matters for you and your family for good.
Enclosed is a maamar "Ein HaKadosh Baruch Hu Ba B'Trunya Im Beriyosav" from the one whose yahrzeit we mark, which we recently published; surely you will find much interest in it.
