Shalom u'Vrachah!

I received your two letters (the first without an indicated time of writing, and the second from 2 Shevat), and in response to your questions:

a) As you also wrote in your letter, the instruction you heard from my father-in-law, the Rebbe, at that time is that the bris milah should be performed when your sons are in complete health. If there is any doubt or even a slight doubt, it can be done tomorrow or the day after. It is known from the Rambam (end of chapter 3 of Hilchos Milah), as explained in Tzafnas Paneach, that a delayed bris retroactively corrects matters.

b) Regarding your question whether to delay the bris milah until it is possible to do both together—I do not understand this reasoning. Each child should have his bris when he is healthy and whole; for the other as well when he is healthy and whole—even if not at the same time.

c) About special days for performing a delayed bris milah—I have not heard of such a thing. It is evident from many sources that there are no special days for this. One should not delay without good reason.

d) Regarding the names you intend to give your sons: we know from my father-in-law, the Rebbe—if he does not say anything about it—the matter is understood according to what is brought in the writings of the Arizal: Above they give the father and mother an idea which name to give their children that matches their soul. Therefore, call them names upon which you and your wife agree; may it be for long and good years both materially and spiritually...

e) Please convey my Mazal Tov blessing to your wife, the Rebbetzin. My blessing to both of you as well: may you bring your newborn sons into Avraham Avinu's covenant at an auspicious and successful time; just as you bring them into the covenant so may you bring them to Torah study, marriage, and good deeds together with your son... May you raise them with proper health and abundance.

Summary

The Rebbe teaches that each child's bris milah should occur when he is healthy without unnecessary delay or combining ceremonies. Naming should follow parental inspiration aligned with spiritual roots. He blesses the family with health and success in raising their children.
