קבלתי מכתבו מי"ב כסלו, וגם נהניתי לקבל פ"ש ממנו ע"י חתנו שי' ובפרט הסיב לי ענג שכותב במכתבו ע"ד זכרונות מימי קדם מכ"ק אדמו"ר מוהר"ש נ"ע ששמע מאביו, ובטח משתמש בהשפעתו בסביבתו בכדי להכירם בחסידות בכלל וחסידות חב"ד בפרט.
וזה שכותב במכתבו שאין עם מי לדבר א לעבעדיקן ווארט, הנה שמענו כמה פעמים מכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע בשם רבותינו נשיאינו, שכשמדברים עם יהודי הנה הנשמה שומעת תיכף וגם המדבר כשלא פוסק און ווערט ניט פארמאטערט לדבר, הנה סוף סוף חודר (נעמט עם דורך) בתוכו, וחזקה לתעמולה שאינה חוזרת ריקם, והאדם צריך לעשות במה שתלוי בו והשי"ת יצליח אז כמו שהוא ית' יכול, וזה ישמש לצנור וכלי להמשכת ברכה והצלחה בהענינים שזקוק הוא בעצמו,
השי"ת יתן לו בריאות הנכונה שלאריכות ימים ושנים טובות יוכל להיות הצנור שעל ידו יתוסף אור חסידות במקום שנמצא.
מצו"פ קונטרס שהו"ל זה לא כבר, שבטח יביא לו תועלת בהנ"ל.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
I received your letter from the 12th of Kislev, and I also enjoyed receiving regards from you through your son-in-law. In particular, it gave me pleasure that you wrote in your letter about memories from earlier days of the Rebbe Maharash, may his merit protect us, which you heard from your father. Surely you are using your influence in your surroundings to introduce them to Chassidus in general and Chabad Chassidus in particular.
Regarding what you wrote in your letter that there is no one with whom to share a lively word: We have heard many times from my father-in-law, the Rebbe, of blessed memory, quoting our Rebbeim and leaders, that when you speak with a Jew, the soul immediately hears. Even if the speaker does not stop and does not become discouraged from speaking, eventually it penetrates (takes hold within him), and there is a strong presumption that efforts in spreading will not return empty-handed. A person must do what depends on him, and Hashem will grant success as only He can. This will serve as a channel and vessel for drawing down blessing and success in matters he himself needs. May Hashem grant him proper health so that for long good years he can be the channel through which the light of Chassidus increases in his place.
Enclosed is a booklet recently published, which will surely be helpful regarding the above.
