ה) מהנכון הי' לברר אם אפשר שמי מכם ידפיס בזמנים קבועים מאמרים קצרים או סיפורים וכיו"ב בהעתונים המופיעים במדינתם עתה א[ו] גם בעירם, ומובן שיכול להיות זה בשפת המדינה ויעתיק אחר את מה שיכתבו הם, ובלבד שיהי' בטוח שההעתקה מתאימה להנקודה הפנימית. והכוונה בשתים בזה, א) פרסום שמם שבמילא מתחזקת עי"ז ג"כ עמדתם בכל הענינים. ב) פרסום רעיונות המתאימים אם ביראת שמים בכלל או בנוגע לחסידות בפרט.
ו) מהנכון הי' לברר ולמצוא מעתיק המתאים שיוכל להעתיק אם את השמועסין והטאקס או משאר הוצאות המל"ח לשפת המדינה, ויתייעצו ביניהם לאיזה חוברות וסיפורים דין הקדימה בזה, ויודיעוני ג"כ ההוצאות הכרוכות בזה והתועלת הצפוי', ואז אפשר יהי' להחליט סופית בזה...
בודאי כשידפיסו במכ"ע ע"ד הנ"ל, או כשיהי' בכלל איזה ענינים נדפסים שייכים להנ"ל, ישלחו לכאן קטע זה.
כן מטובו להתענין אשר אפשר נמצאים בבתכ"נ או גם אצל יחידים ספרים בלתי מצוים, או גם כתבי יד ובפרט מספרי הספרדים שאין משתמשים בהם, ואז כדאי שישלחום לכאן, ואם ידרשו יש להחליפם על איזה מהוצאות קה"ת הידועים לכם.

...d) Enclosed is my suggestion (which is from last year) regarding conduct on the yahrzeit of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal, as well as the booklet that was recently published, and in a special envelope I am also sending you the Beis Rabbi that was recently printed here in Yiddish. Surely you will use all this for the benefit of your work in addition to your own benefit.
e) It would be appropriate to check if one of you can regularly print short articles or stories and similar items in the newspapers currently appearing in your country or even in your city. Of course, this can be in the local language, and someone else can translate what you write—as long as it is certain that the translation matches the inner point. The intention here is twofold: a) publicizing your names, which will automatically strengthen your standing in all matters; b) publicizing ideas that are appropriate either regarding fear of Heaven in general or specifically about Chassidus.
f) It would be proper to check and find a suitable translator who can translate either the talks and "taks" or other Melach materials into the local language. You should consult among yourselves as to which booklets and stories should take precedence in this matter, and inform me as well about the expenses involved and the expected benefit; then it will be possible to make a final decision about this...
Certainly, when you print in periodicals as mentioned above, or if there are any printed matters related to these topics at all, please send such clippings here. Also, please look into whether there may be books not commonly found—either in synagogues or even by individuals—or manuscripts, especially from Sefardic books that are not being used; then it would be worthwhile to send them here. If needed, they can be exchanged for some of the well-known Kehot publications familiar to you.
