רצוני לציין אשר בשעת ביקורו של מר קול הכרתי בו שטרם בואו אלי כבר הוכן והוזמן ביחס טוב להענינים שעליהם נדברנו, ועתה נוכחתי מהמברק ששלח לי כבודו אשר השפעתו היתה עליו לטובה. והנני מקוה כי התוצאות הטובות שתצאנה לפועל תביאינה לו נחת רוח ושביעת רצון.
נשען על פסק תורתנו אשר מצוה גוררת מצוה, הנני בטוח אשר גם להבא יושיט לנו עזרתו במידה ההולכת וגדלה בכל המקצועות דתנועתנו - בלשון מדבר בעדינו, וכפתגם רז"ל[1] זרוק חוטרא לאוירא אעיקרי' קאי עיקרי'- תרתי משמע - שורש, ועיקר ופנימיות החוטר, והא בהא תליא.
מובן מאליו אשר מה שכתבתי בסיום מכתבי למר קול בנוגע להאחריות וכן בנוגע להזכות והכוחות שנתונים מלמעלה, הנה מכיון שמתאימים למר קול, מכל שכן שמתאימים הדברים לכבודו אשר בידו להשפיע על מר קול וחבריו להשתמש בכוחותיהם בכיוון הרצוי ובמידה המלאה.

In addition to the telegram I sent you, I thank you again for the telegram you sent me regarding your meeting with Mr. Kol. Mr. Kol visited me, and enclosed is a copy of my letter to him.
I wish to note that during Mr. Kol's visit I sensed that even before coming to me he was already prepared and favorably disposed toward the matters we discussed. Now I see from your telegram that your influence on him was positive.
I hope that the good results that will come to fruition will bring you satisfaction and contentment.
Relying on our Torah's ruling that one mitzvah brings another mitzvah in its wake, I am confident that also in the future He will extend His assistance to us in ever-increasing measure in all areas of our movement—speaking on our behalf—as our Sages say: Zerok Chutra Le'avira A'ikarei Ka'i (Throw a stick into the air—it lands on its root), which has a double meaning: root and essence as well as the inner core of the stick; one depends on the other.
It is self-evident that what I wrote at the end of my letter to Mr. Kol regarding responsibility as well as concerning the merit and strengths granted from Above—since these apply to Mr. Kol, how much more so do they apply to you, who can influence Mr. Kol and his colleagues to use their abilities in the proper direction and to their fullest extent.
