Shalom u'Vrachah!
Your pidyon nefesh in connection with the day of good tidings, the Festival of Redemption Yud-Tes Kislev that just passed, was received. May it be the will of Hashem that He fulfill your heart's desires for good in both material and spiritual matters, and may it be fulfilled for you—as the Previous Rebbe said—in the words: "For a good year in learning and in the ways of Chassidus may you be inscribed and sealed."
It is known the saying of the Previous Rebbe: One positive action is better than a thousand sighs. Instead of sighing over one's situation, one should persist and increase diligence in studying both the revealed Torah and Chassidus. It is understood that according to the Baal Shem Tov's instruction, one must guard one's physical health; there is absolutely no contradiction here—on the contrary, it even helps. As our Sages ruled: "If you have labored and found success—believe it," so you will surely succeed in this.
With blessings for Torah study with awe of Heaven and success.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that practical action outweighs excessive worrying. By increasing diligence in both revealed Torah and Chassidus while maintaining physical health, one can achieve true success—fulfilling both spiritual and material aspirations.
