מדאיג אותי במקצת, מה שזה זמן רב לא הגיעתני ממנו כל ידיעה, בקשתי לצלצל לו פעמים בטלפון, והנומער בסן פרנציסקה לא ענה, ובטח הכל שלום, וכמו שמספרים על הרז"א נ"ע, להבחל"ח, שהיתה שיטתו שאין צריכים לכתוב מכתבים, ואמר הטעם שאם הכל שלום, הרי מה יש כאן לכתוב, ובכ"ז ירגיעני אם יודיע עד"ז בפירוש.

I am somewhat concerned that I have not received any news from you for quite some time. I tried calling you twice by phone, but the number in San Francisco did not answer. I trust that all is well. As is told about the Raz"a of blessed memory—may the living be separated from the deceased—his approach was that there was no need to write letters, and he explained that if all is well, what is there to write? Nevertheless, it would reassure me if you would explicitly let me know.
Enclosed is the kuntres recently published by our Rebbe (the Rebbe Rashab) of blessed memory fifty years ago, which I reviewed on Shabbat Kodesh. Since our Sages say 'Milta Albisheihu Yakira' (when something is clothed it becomes precious), I am sure it will interest you.
As we approach the Festival of Redemption, Yud Tes Kislev, I hereby express my heartfelt wishes to you and your wife for a speedy recovery to full health and success in your affairs.
