בנועם נודעתי אודותיו מהרה"ג הרה"ח הוו"ח אי"א נו"נ עוסק בצ"צ וכו' מוהרש"ז שי' העכט וע"ד השתדלותו להרים קרן היהדות ע"י תעמולה מתאימה בענין נחיצות החינוך הכשר בפרט ושמירת תומ"צ בכלל, שגודל ערך ענין זה אין לשער, ואף שלפעמים נדמה שמדברים ועדיין אין נראית פעולה, הנה אין אתנו יודע עד מה בעניני השגחה פרטית, ובדברים היוצאים מן הלב הרי פסקה תוה"ק שנכנסים ללב השומעים, ובמילא מוכרח הדבר אשר סו"ס יפעלו פעולתם, ואף שהאדם הרואה, לא תמיד רואה הוא פעולה זו, הנה סיבת הענין אפשר להיות א) או שהפעולה תבוא לאחר זמן ב) או שהאדם יראה לעינים וה' יראה ללבב, ואפשר אשר בנפש כבר נזדעזע השומע ונהפך החשך לנהורא ומרירו למיתקא, אף שבאמת אין פרט אחד נוגע בהשני, שהמוכיח והמעורר צריך להוכיח ובזה כבר עשה מצותו שלו, בכ"ז הנה לנעימות העבודה הודיעונו חז"ל אשר נוסף ע"ז ששכר קיום המצות הוא, כמרז"ל, שכר מצוה מצוה, היינו קיום המצוה עצמה, הנה נוסף ע"ז השכר הוא זה שפעל על בן או בת ישראל לקרב את לבן לאבינו שבשמים, ומובן גודל השמחה משני הצדדים, הן מצד האב, השי"ת, והן מצד בנו יחידו הוא הבן או בת ישראל - שנתקרבו זה אל זה ע"י דבור או פעולה של המוכיח ומעורר, וגדולה שמחה זו אשר פורצת גדר להשפיע להמוכיח ומעורר ברכה והצלחה בהמצטרך לו בגשמיות וברוחניות...

It was with pleasure that I learned about you from Haraha"g Haraha"ch vavac"h iy"a nu"n involved in tzt"z etc. Moharsh"z Sheyichyeh Hecht regarding your efforts to uplift the banner of Judaism through appropriate outreach about the necessity of proper education in particular and observance of Torah and mitzvos in general. The immense value of this matter cannot be measured. Even if at times it seems that one is speaking but no visible effect is apparent, we do not know the workings of Divine Providence. As our holy Torah rules, words that come from the heart enter the hearts of those who hear them, and therefore it is certain that they will ultimately have their effect.
Even though a person may not always see this effect, the reason may be: a) either the result will come after some time; b) or as man sees with his eyes but Hashem sees into the heart—it is possible that in his soul, the listener has already been shaken and darkness has turned to light and bitterness to sweetness. In truth, these are separate matters: the one who rebukes or inspires must do so, thus fulfilling his own mitzvah.
Nevertheless, for pleasantness in one's work our Sages have informed us that beyond the reward for fulfilling mitzvos—which as our Sages say is "the reward for a mitzvah is [the opportunity for] another mitzvah," meaning fulfillment itself—there is also added reward for having influenced a fellow Jew to draw their heart closer to our Father in Heaven. The joy from both sides is understood: both from the perspective of the Father, Hashem, and from His only child—the Jewish son or daughter—who have been brought closer through the words or actions of one who inspires or rebukes. This great joy breaks all boundaries to bring blessing and success to the one who inspires or rebukes in all his needs both materially and spiritually.
Summary
Sincere words spoken from the heart have lasting impact even when unseen; every effort to inspire others toward Torah and mitzvos brings deep joy Above and below, rewarding both speaker and listener with spiritual and material blessings.
