Shalom u'Vrachah!

...Regarding what you wrote about being ill in your legs several times (and I hope that by now you have completely recovered), perhaps it was necessary to fulfill the words of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe shlita, in simplicity—without entering into calculations and lengthy contemplation or seeking advice about this.

This is in accordance with what is written in Iggeres HaKodesh section 1 and in Likkutei Torah, discourse "Yechayenu Miyomayim" page 283, that faith is on the level of 'legs.' This was printed in Likkutei Sichos volume 14, page 246.

Summary

The Rebbe teaches that healing can come through simple faith and by following the Rebbe's advice straightforwardly, without overcomplicating matters or excessive deliberation.
