בטח נודע לו ע"ד בתי הספר לנערות אשר נוסדו ע"פ הצעת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר שליט"א ואחת מהן בעיר פראג. והנה עתה אחרי שנסע משם הרש"מ שי' קאלמענסאן, שהוא השתדל בשיכלול הנהלת ביה"ס הנ"ל, הננו לבקשו אשר כבו' יתן שימת לב הראוי' לענין נעלה זה ויקדיש מעתו ומרצו להשגיח באופן המתאים שתהי' הנהגת ביה"ס כפי הראוי ע"פ רצון מייסדה הוא כ"ק מו"ח אד"ש ויתגדל ויתרחב הן בכמות, מספר התלמידות, הן באיכות, ידיעות התלמידות והתפתחותן מיוסדות על יר"ש ומידות חסידות. ובודאי יעמוד בקישור מכתבים אתנו בנוגע לכל הנ"ל.
גודל ערך חינוך הבנות נתבאר כבר בכ"מ, והביאור היותר מוכיח הם החיים גופא שהראו חשיבות ועקריות דבר זה, ובפרט בימינו אלו ימי הירוס והכרח הבנין במקומות חדשות ובתנאים חדשים וזרים לגמרי, אשר השימור על הצורה הרצוי' ומסורת אבות דורשת השתדלות מיוחדת מצד כל בני הבית ואין מספיק כלל ציווי ופקודת ראש הבית בלבד.
ואמרז"ל (שמות רבה פכ"ח, ב) שבמתן תורה צ"ל תחילה אמירה לנשים ואח"כ לאנשים ואז התורה מתקיימת. וההוראה לדורות מובנת.

Surely you have heard about the girls' schools that were established at the suggestion of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe shlita, and one of them is in Prague. Now, after Reb Shmuel Menachem Kalmanenson left there—he had worked to improve the management of this school—we are asking you to devote proper attention to this important matter and dedicate your time and energy to supervising it appropriately. The school's conduct should be as fitting according to the will of its founder, my revered father-in-law, may he be well, and it should grow and expand both quantitatively (the number of students) and qualitatively (the students' knowledge and development), all based on fear of Heaven and chassidic character traits.
Certainly you will stay in correspondence with us regarding all of the above.
The great value of girls' education has already been explained in many places, but the most convincing proof is life itself, which demonstrates its importance—especially nowadays, during times of transition and the necessity to build new communities under completely new and foreign conditions. Preserving the desired form and ancestral tradition requires special effort from every family member; it is not enough for only the head of the household to command or instruct.
Our Sages said (Shemot Rabbah 28:2) that at Matan Torah there first had to be a message for the women before one for the men; then Torah endures. The lesson for all generations is clear.
