In response to your letters: a) Thank you very much for your efforts regarding the certificate for my mother. I have conveyed the content of your response to my father-in-law, the Rebbe. In the meantime, I have a doubt regarding her years due to discrepancies; I am awaiting clarification and will then proceed and inform you accordingly.

b) Regarding the deed of acquisition for the house and property in Chevron: among the documents you sent was only a deed in the name of my father-in-law (the previous Rebbe). Since it is certain that later a deed was also made in the name of my father-in-law, the Rebbe shlita, I was instructed to ask you to search for it, keep an official photograph with you, and send the original document to my father-in-law, the Rebbe shlita.

c) Some time ago I instructed that you be sent—since you assist and participate in our work (the work of Meluchemes Hashem and Kehot): Bad Kodesh, books of tzt"z, an addition to Drush Mitzvah Tefillin by tzt"z, a maamar for Yud-Gimmel Shevat. Please confirm their receipt.

d) The sale of tzt"z books here was entrusted to Mr. Goldman; he also sent them to Eretz HaKodesh. Therefore we do not send them directly to buyers there. Nevertheless, since you repeated your request regarding sending tzt"z to Reb Y. Orenshtein shlita—as an exception—I instructed that a set be purchased here at the lowest price (15 shekel) and sent. Please confirm its receipt.

e) Regarding Hilash and Keren Orah—the publisher says he is already in direct contact with you.

f) Copies from Reb Aharon of Karlin's writings have so far been received only once—and are with my father-in-law, the Rebbe shlita.

g) In Maayan Chaim Bamishor Adar 5706 there was an article about the father of Admor Hazaken; is it possible to obtain this article? What is known about its author?

h) I saw while passing through my father-in-law's library a book "Toldos Mishpachat HaRav Miladi" by Mr. M.S. Slonim; it contains several errors and missing details. Who is its author? What is known about him?

i) A long time ago I wrote to students of Tomchei Temimim (Cohen, Ber etc.), Reb M.M.L. Shapira and Reb D. Shapira (author of Bnei Tzion), but I have not received confirmation that these letters were received.

j) To conclude with a Torah matter: While preparing for print maamarim of my father-in-law with added sources and notes—I came across the usual phrase in Chassidic discourses: Pnimiyus Abba is Pnimiyus Atik*. The source is cited in Likkutei Torah Yud Alef D"H Sosos Asis chapter 3; he writes there that this is necessary according to Pri Etz Chaim Shaar Krias Shema chapter 15. However, it seems problematic because there—and also in Shaar HaKavanos Krias Shema section 2—it explicitly says it is Chitzoniyus Atik. Perhaps one can say—based on what is written there and also in Ramaz Zohar III (Daf Samech Beis), which Likkutei Torah brings—that Pnimiyus Abba is considered like Ohr Atik within Arich Anpin; in Arich Anpin only Zat are enclothed but not Gar which remain revealed (Etz Chaim Shaar Arich Anpin chapter 81 etc.), and Chabad of Arich Anpin enclothe Chagat of Adam Kadmon; those Zat which later enclothe into Chochmah Binah—since Binah of Arich Anpin becomes crowns for Abba v'Ima—enclothe Nehi of Adam Kadmon; now Chagat relative to Nehi are called Pnimiyut but relative to Gar are called Chitzoniyut; and in Krias Shema of Shacharit discussed there in Pri Etz Chaim we draw from Nehi d'Atik from Chitzoniyut Abba v'Ima. And Pnimiyut Abba v'Ima is Chagat d'Atik—even though Pri Etz Chaim calls this "Chitzoniyut Atik," it is called (in R.N.Sh.'s glosses etc., as brought in Likkutei Torah and maamarim) "Pnimiyut Atik" relative to Nehi d'Atik. Note also from Otzaros Chaim Atik chapter 4 section 7—and all this fits what is written in Hemshech Resamach Vav chapters 12-13 explaining that "Pnei Abba hu Pnimiyut Atik," all this being composite delight—but simple delight which is not felt is not Pnimiyut Abba—see also Shaar HaYichud chapter 23 onward.
