אביע ברכותי שיגדלוהו (ראה קדושין ל, א: ידך על צוארי דבריך כו' עד עשרים ותרתי ואמרי לה כו' עד עשרים וארבעה, ולכאורה צ"ע בדעת רבנו הזקן - הל' ת"ת פ"א סוף ס"ו - דנקט כתרי חומרי, ואכ"מ) לתורה חופה ומע"ט מתוך הרחבה בגו"ר.
והנה בן י"ג למצות י"א דילפינן משמעון ולוי (רש"י נזיר כט, ב, וראה נ"כ המשנה ספ"ה דאבות) וי"ל דענין קיום המצות בבר מצוה בתחלה, עכ"פ, הוא א) בדרך מלחמה עם הגוף ונה"ב, כי אקדמי' טעניתי', ב) הכוונה להמשיך אוא"ס ב"ה בהם ובגשם שבו מקיים המצוה, ג) היכולת לנצח מלחמה זו, הוא מפני שהקב"ה עוזרו, כי אלמלא עוזרו כו'.
וזהו א) שמעון - עבודתו בבחי' שמיעה ולא ראי' (יעויין לקו"ת ר"פ ואתחנן, סוף קונטרס העבודה, ועוד). ב) לוי - הכוונה שילווה אוא"ס ב"ה למטה (ראה תו"א ר"פ ויחי) ג) אליעזר - מנצח אף אם היצר מתגבר, כי אלקיו בעזרו, להיות הולך וגדל עד כי גדל מאד.

במענה על מכתביו:
א) ת"ח מקול"ע על טרחתו, במילוי בקשותי ליום היא"צ של אאמו"ר נ"ע.
ב) ס' השיחות של כ"ק אדנ"ע נדפס באופן מימיוגרפי ובמספר מצומצם ולכן אינו נכנס בתנאים הכללים של הוצאותנו, ומחירו הוא כמ"ש: יו"ד ובשביל בני הישיבות חי"ת.
ג) מה שראה שם מהוצאותנו, הוא בודאי מאלו שקנו פה במזומן מספר נכון של טופסים ושלחו להתם על אחריותם, שאז כמובן, התנאים נוחים ביותר. מכירה הראשית של הצ"צ מסרנוה על משך שנה למו"ס פה, בתנאי שהוא ישלח גם לאה"ק.
ד) נצטוותי לברר אצלו, איפוא הם השטר והתעודות של הבית ונחלה בחברון אשר ע"ש כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר שליט"א, (מה שנתקבל לכאן הוא רק השטר מכירה ע"ש כ"ק אדנ"ע) ומטובו לעשות מהם פוטוגרפיא ולהשאיר שם, ולשלוח לכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר שליט"א את גוף התעודות, וההקדם האפשרי בזה ישובח ות"ח מראש.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
In response to your notification about your son Eliezer's Bar Mitzvah, I send my blessings that you raise him (see Kiddushin 30a: "Your hand on the neck of your words," etc., until twenty-two; and some say until twenty-four. Seemingly there is a question regarding the view of Rabbeinu HaZaken—Hilchos Talmud Torah chapter 1 end of section 6—who takes both stringencies; this is not the place for discussion) to Torah, chuppah, and good deeds with abundance in good that is revealed. Now, a boy at thirteen for mitzvos is derived from Shimon and Levi (Rashi Nazir 29b; see also commentaries on Mishnah Avos chapter 5). It can be said that the initial fulfillment of mitzvos at Bar Mitzvah is: a) as a battle with the body and animal soul, since "I have preceded my complaint"; b) the intention is to draw down the Infinite Light of G-d into them and into the physicality with which one performs the mitzvah; c) the ability to win this battle comes because the Holy One helps him—for without His help... And this is: a) Shimon—his service is in hearing rather than seeing (see Likkutei Torah beginning of Va'eschanan, end of Kuntres HaAvodah, etc.); b) Levi—the intention that the Infinite Light of G-d should accompany below (see Torah Or beginning of Vayechi); c) Eliezer—he prevails even if the yetzer hara strengthens itself against him because his G-d helps him, so he continues to grow until he becomes very great.
In response to your letters: a) Thank you from Kol Yaakov for your efforts in fulfilling my requests for my father's yahrzeit. b) The Sefer HaSichos of our master was printed mimeographically in limited numbers and therefore does not fall under our general publication conditions; its price is as stated: ten for yeshivah students eight. c) What you saw there from our publications was certainly from those who bought here in cash a proper number of copies and sent them there at their own responsibility—in such cases, naturally, conditions are most favorable. The main sale of tzt"z we entrusted for a year to a publisher here on condition that he also sends to Eretz HaKodesh. d) I was instructed to clarify with you where are the deed and documents for the house and property in Chevron registered under our master my father-in-law shlita (what was received here is only the deed registered under our master zatzal). Please kindly make photographs of them to leave there and send the original documents to our master my father-in-law shlita as soon as possible; thanks in advance.
