... ה) ותכלית הכל הוא שמוכרח להרבות כמות התלמידים, ובהשתדלות מועטה, הרי בודאי יראה כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר שתהי' הרבה הצלחה ובריבוי הכמות (גם ע"י המשכת תלמידים משאר הערים דאוסטראליא וסמוכותי') והרי ידוע מרז"ל אלף נכנסים למקרא וכו' אחד ויצא להוראה ועיין בזה בלקו"ת לג' פרשיות (בתחלתו) על מרז"ל זה, שהם בכלל נגד ד' עולמות אבי"ע, ומזה מובן שאחד יוצא להוראה, ה"ז פנימיות התורה.
... ט) חבל אשר אינו כותב פרטים ע"ד ההתועדות די"ב וי"ג תמוז וכן ע"ד ההחלטות שנתקבלו בעת ההתועדות, ובטח ימלא במכתבו הבא.

... e) And the ultimate purpose is that it is necessary to increase the quantity of students, and with minimal effort, surely you will see—as my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, says—much success and a great increase in numbers (also by bringing in students from other cities in Australia and its surroundings). It is well known from our Sages: Elef nichnasim l'mikra etc. echad yotzei l'hora'ah ("A thousand enter to study Scripture... one emerges for teaching"). See Likkutei Torah on three parshiyot (at its beginning) regarding this teaching of our Sages—that they correspond in general to the four worlds of Atzilut, Beriah, Yetzirah, Asiyah—and from this it is understood that the one who emerges for teaching represents the inner dimension of Torah.
... t) It is unfortunate that you do not write details about the farbrengen of 12th and 13th Tammuz nor about the resolutions accepted at the gathering. Surely you will fulfill this in your next letter.
y) Enclosed is Kuntres HaMilu'im to Reshimos Megillas Eichah which was just published now; surely you will merit many through this.
