במענה על מכתבו מיום הגאולה והסגולה י"ג תמוז, בו מודיע שנכתבו התנאים בשעה טובה ומוצלחת, עוד הפעם אכפול את ברכתי שיהי' בשעה טובה ומוצלחת ובבנין עדי עד.
ומה שמתאונן על מעמדו ומצבו בחוסר פעולות מורגשות ונראות בעניני התעמולה שמנהל, הנה מוסג"פ ר"ד מה שאמרתי להתלמידים הנוסעים בשליחות המל"ח - מרכז לעניני חנוך - ובאמת הם שייכים לכל אלו הנודדים ממקומם ואולי גם בכלל לבני ישראל, כי כל נשמה ונשמה הרי נודדה ממקומה, שהיא חצובה מתחת כסא הכבוד ומקורה עוד למעלה מזה ונסעה וירדה וכו' מאגרא רמה לבירא עמיקתא למלאות שליחותה בעולם, וידוע המבואר בתניא ונראה גם במוחש שהענינים הנעשים מתוך עצבות אינם כדבעי למהוי, והשמחה מביאה תועלת בכל עניני העבודה.
מ"ש בענין קביעות חתונתם אם תהי' בכסלו או דוקא לאחר זמן שחרורו מהצבא היינו בניסן: הנה למה לו להחליט עתה בזה, כיון שזה נוגע לשנה הבאה, ואחרי ראש השנה הבע"ל שנכתב ונחתם בתוך כלל ישראל לשנה טובה ומתוקה, הנה אז יחליטו גם בשאלה זו.

In response to your letter from the day of redemption and merit, the 13th of Tammuz, in which you inform me that the conditions were written at an auspicious and successful time, I will once again repeat my blessing that it should be at a good and successful time and with everlasting building.
As for your complaint about your situation and status due to a lack of felt and visible activities in the outreach matters you manage: Enclosed is a transcript of what I said to the students traveling on the mission of Melach – Merkaz L'Inyanei Chinuch – and truly it applies to all those who wander from their place, perhaps even to all Jews. For every soul has wandered from its place; it is hewn from beneath the Throne of Glory, its source even higher than that, and it traveled and descended, etc., from a lofty height to a deep pit to fulfill its mission in this world. It is known as explained in Tanya—and also seen tangibly—that matters done out of sadness are not as they should be, while joy brings benefit in all aspects of service.
Regarding what you wrote about setting your wedding date—whether it should be in Kislev or only after your release from the army (in Nissan): Why decide this now? Since this concerns next year, after Rosh Hashanah may you be inscribed and sealed among all Israel for a good and sweet year; then you can decide on this question as well.

Summary
