במענה על מכתבה, בו מודיעה אשר נתמלאו לה שתים עשרה שנה:
הנה בטח יודעת היא אשר בגיל זה נעשית מחוייבת במצות, וכמרז"ל בינה יתירה ניתנה באישה, אשר לכן ה"בר מצוה" של בנות ישראל היא שנה קודם להבר מצוה של בני ישראל, ויתן השי"ת שתגדל מעלה מעלה בידיעות והנהגה ישרה והורי' שיחיו ירוו ממנה ומשאר ילידיהם שיחיו, אידישן נחת חסידישן נחת.
בטח משתדלת גם כן להשפיע על סביבתה להחדיר בה חום של יראת שמים וחסידות, אשר זהו גם כן צנור וכלי נוסף לקבלת ברכות השי"ת.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
In response to your letter, in which you inform me that you have reached the age of twelve: Surely you know that at this age you become obligated in mitzvos. As our Sages say, extra understanding was given to women; therefore, the "Bar Mitzvah" for Jewish girls is a year earlier than for Jewish boys. May Hashem grant that you grow ever higher in knowledge and upright conduct, and may your parents derive both Jewish nachas and chassidic nachas from you and their other children.
Surely you also strive to influence those around you by instilling in them warmth for awe of Heaven and chassidus, for this too is an additional channel and vessel for receiving Hashem's blessings.
