Shalom u'Vrachah!

I received your brief letter in which you inform me that you held a farbrengen in... but you were brief where it was appropriate to elaborate and did not mention at all one of the intentions I had for these farbrengens—that you would also repeat a maamar of Chassidus. I hope that you certainly fulfilled this request as well, but how much better it would be if you would write to me about this explicitly. And if it was out of misplaced humility that you did not do so, then at least do so now. Surely those who participated in the farbrengen will not be upset that you are not satisfied with just one farbrengen and want to hold at least an additional one as mentioned above.

This is in line with what I told you at the farbrengen here: that the physical administrators of the institutions of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, are also spiritual administrators, for this was his will. This does not mean they should have absolute authority in spiritual matters—which would cause disorder—but rather that they should know that the material aspects of my father-in-law's institutions are also spiritual matters. Therefore, everything that can be demanded from a spiritual administrator of my father-in-law's institution should also be demanded from oneself (from oneself as a physical administrator), etc. Further elaboration is unnecessary...
