Shalom u'Vrachah!

It has been some time since I have heard from you, and in the absence of information I am assuming all is well. As is known, when letters are not received it is a sign that everything is in order. I believe there is also an English saying: when there is no news, that itself is good news.

I received a letter with a signature... but it seems this was written by someone else, so I am enclosing a copy of the response to the pidyon nefesh and a letter from Reb Moshe Cohen.

Since I do not know which of you is primarily involved in this matter, I recalled what my revered father-in-law wrote at the end of Kuntres Limud HaChassidus: this explains the Mishnah about two people holding onto a tallis—one says "I found it," and the other says "I found it." See there for the explanation. The conclusion is that each one will receive his reward. May it be G‑d's will that we use this for healthy matters and that Jews should be healthy both physically and spiritually.

Summary

The Rebbe teaches that sometimes silence or lack of news signals all is well. Even when disagreements arise, each person receives their due reward. We should strive for health and success in both material and spiritual pursuits.
