במענה על מכתבו מב' שבט, בו כותב אשר הרופא שלהם מציע לזוגתו תחי' לעשות נתוח א) לאחד את התפירות מנתוח הקודם שנתפרדו, ב) להרים ולהעמיד את האם במקומה:
לדעתי נכון הדבר ובלבד שיסכים ע"ז עוד רופא מומחה במקצוע זה.
ובנוגע להצעה השלישית, שבב"א עם נתוח הנ"ל מציע ג"כ הרופא ג) לתפור ולסתום את צנור מקור ההריון:
אין נראה לי הדבר, ויתייעץ עם רב חרדי בהנוגע להדין בזה, ואם גם מותר יהי' ע"פ דין, הרי כנראה מדבריו הקצרים, ע"י תפירה כזו ישללו מזוגתו תחי' את האפשרי[ו] ת להתעבר עוד, ולמה להם לעשות את זה,
ומ"ש שהרופאים תולים סיבת חלישות זוגתו תחי' בתכיפות העבור והלידה שעד עתה, הנה הרי אפשר א) שטועים הם בזה, ואין הדבר תלוי אלא באכילה ושתי' כדבעי והנהגת סדר החיים באופן שתחזור לאיתנה, ב) גם אם יתברר שסכנה לה ח"ו עתה להתעבר במצב בריאותה, יעויין בשו"ת צמח צדק חלק אבן העזר סי' פ"ט אשר במצב כזה מתיר לשמש במוך, וע"ד האופנים בזה יתייעץ עם רב חרדי.

In response to your letter from 2 Shevat, in which you write that your doctor suggests your wife should undergo surgery: a) to unite the stitches from the previous operation which have separated; b) to lift and set the womb in its place. In my opinion, this is appropriate provided another expert doctor in this field also agrees.
Regarding the third suggestion—that together with the above surgery, the doctor also proposes c) to sew and close the tube of conception: this does not seem appropriate to me. You should consult with a charedi rabbi regarding the halachic ruling on this matter. Even if it is permitted according to halachah, it appears from your brief words that such a procedure would remove your wife's possibility of conceiving again. Why should you do this? As you wrote, the doctors attribute your wife's weakness to frequent pregnancies and births until now. However, it is possible: a) they are mistaken and the issue depends only on proper eating and drinking and arranging her lifestyle so she regains her strength; b) even if it becomes clear that there is real danger for her to conceive now due to her health condition—see tzt"z Responsa, Even HaEzer section 89, which in such cases permits using a barrier (mukh). For details about these methods, consult with a charedi rabbi.
Enclosed is a copy of the general letter regarding the farbrengen of Yud-Tes Kislev—the festival of festivals—as well as customs for the yahrzeit of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal nishmaso Eden.
