I was pleased to receive word through my secretary that your wife, may she live and be well, is already, thank G‑d, at home and recovering well. I hope that things will continue to improve.
I want to once again bring up the matter regarding your sister and what you needed to clarify about the conversion. Surely you know from the holy books how much even a single day matters in questions of conversion. I hope you will deal with this matter promptly and correct whatever needs correcting as soon as possible. There is no excuse for delay, even if it seems that nothing will be accomplished—because the truth is that if one acts with seriousness, results come sooner or later, and at least to some extent.
I hope to hear good news about this.
In connection with the second yahrzeit of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal nishmaso Eden (may his soul rest in Eden), I am enclosing a list of my suggestions on how to conduct oneself. You, as someone who merited to be with him personally, will surely want to fulfill some or all of these suggestions regarding the yahrzeit.
