ב) נהניתי לקרות בהמצורפים למכ' מכ"ב חשון, ע"ד מה שהי' בהעתון בנוגע להתועדות דשמחת בית השואבה, וכן בנוגע להתועדות דנשי חב"ד והשייכות אליהן, ובטח גם להבא יתאמצו בכגון זה, ונוסף על העבודה עצמה, להשתדל בפרסום, ובאופן המתאים דוקא, היינו בלא פרסום זולה, וכידוע מתשובת הרשב"א שמצוה לפרסם עושי מצוה כיון שעי"ז אפשר להמשיך עוד אחרים וכהענין דקנאת סופרים תרבה חכמה.
ג) בענין העזר שמבקש להרשת דאהלי"י, הנה כמ"ש מכבר אין כאן קופה ואמצעים לקבוע עזר מסויים, אבל תקותי שמזמן לזמן יהי' בידי לשלוח לו חבילות סקריפס וכיו"ב, אף שקשה לדעת מראש תכופות המשלוח וגודלה, אבל בכל אופן לא יספיק זה כפי התקציב הדרוש להם, ומוכרח הדבר אשר יחפשו אופנים מתאימים למצוא האמצעים באה"ק ת"ו, ושלחתי מכתב לאגו"ח שיסייעו בידו (באופן שלא תהי' סתירה ממוסד אחד לחבירו).
ד) אין דעתי נוחה כלל וכלל ממה ש... עזב עבודתו ברשת דאהלי"י, וכבר כתבתי גם לו ישר עד"ז, ואם הסיבה היא רק מצד חוסר האמצעים, צריך לחפש עצות לזה, ולא לעזוב את העבודה, ואם הסיבה היא חיכוכים פנימיים בין העובדים דרשת דאהלי"י, הרי פשיטא ופשיטא שצריך לבטל את זה ולשרש אחריהם ובפרט בארץ ישראל שהענין דמחלוקת וכו' צריך להשמר מזה ביותר, ומי יאמר בין חסידי חב"ד וכידוע מרבוה"ק נשיאינו הק' זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, עד כמה מסרו נפשם להשריש בלב החסידים המקושרים השייכים ואפילו בתוך סתם בנ"י, הענין דאהבת ישראל, והאריכות בזה אך למותר.
ה) בקשר עם יום ההילולא דיו"ד שבט הממשמש ובא, יש להשתדל אם הוא רק באפשרי לפתוח ביום זה או בסמוך ליום זה, עכ"פ עוד מחלקה אחת של אהלי"י.
ו) בנוגע לחילוק התפקידים בין המוסדות באופן שלא יבלבלו איש את רעהו מובנת השקפתי בהמכ' לאגו"ח המוסג"פ אשר בקשתי למסור להם בהקדם.

I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letters from the 12th of Cheshvan and two from the 22nd of Teves...
b) I enjoyed reading the enclosures with your letter from the 22nd of Cheshvan regarding what appeared in the newspaper about the Simchas Beis HaShoevah gathering, as well as about the Nshei Chabad gathering and their connection to it. Certainly, you will continue to make efforts in such matters. In addition to the work itself, strive to publicize it appropriately—that is, without cheap publicity. As is known from the response of the Rashba, it is a mitzvah to publicize those who perform mitzvos since this can inspire others as well, as in "Kinas Sofrim Tarbeh Chochmah" (the jealousy among scholars increases wisdom).
c) Regarding the assistance you request for the Oholei Yosef Yitzchak network: as I have written before, there is no fund or means here to establish a set form of assistance. However, I hope that from time to time I will be able to send you packages of scrips and similar items, although it is difficult to know in advance how often or how large these shipments will be. In any case, this will not suffice according to your budgetary needs; therefore it is necessary to seek suitable ways to find resources in Eretz HaKodesh. I have sent a letter to Aguch asking them to assist you (in a way that does not cause conflict between one institution and another).
d) I am not at all pleased that ... left his work at Oholei Yosef Yitzchak network. I have already written directly to him about this. If the reason is only due to lack of resources, one must seek solutions for this—not abandon the work. If the reason is internal friction among workers at Oholei Yosef Yitzchak network, then certainly and obviously this must be eliminated and uprooted—especially in Eretz Yisrael where issues of discord must be guarded against even more so. Who could say such things among Chabad chassidim? As is well known from our holy Rebbeim—our leaders—how much they gave themselves over to instill in chassidim (and even among ordinary Jews) Ahavas Yisrael (love for fellow Jews). There is no need for lengthy discussion on this.
e) In connection with the upcoming yahrzeit on Yud Shevat, every effort should be made—if at all possible—to open at least one more division of Oholei Yosef Yitzchak on or near that day.
f) Regarding dividing responsibilities among institutions so they do not interfere with each other: my perspective is clear in my letter to Aguch enclosed herewith, which I asked you to convey promptly.
